My biggest lightbulb moment is challenge is not the problem it is how you respond to it!

Using my voice to inspire, celebrate, educate and plant seeds of growth. Because the truth is you don't know what you don't know

My change came from connecting what experiences had significant impact on me, normalising my emotions but holding myself to a higher account because it became very clear in my 30s that there was more for me if I embraced connection.  An experienced and qualified coach/mentor who uses psychology to support others to build personal mastery and mental agility.

Life will always give you challenge, conflict and disruption.

WHY?

BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT CHANGED MY LIFE - A NEW PERSPECTIVE ON MAINTAINING ONE'S CHARACTER, INTEGRITY AND DIGNITY EVEN IN THE FACE OF ADVERSE EXPERIENCES.

Whether I am speaking about trauma, personal mastery or leadership the aim is the same. - PUTTING PEOPLE BEFORE THE EXPERIENCE AND CONTEXTUALISING THE JOURNEY.

NOV 2023 - PASSING OUT PARADE

What is a passing out parade?

A passing out parade in the Metropolitan Police Service marks the formal graduation of new police officers as they complete their initial training and transition into operational duty. The ceremony is rooted in tradition and discipline, bringing together recruits, senior officers, and invited guests to recognise the commitment, resilience, and standards required to serve. It typically includes formal inspections, drill displays, and the presentation of awards, symbolising both achievement and the responsibility officers now carry as they begin serving their communities.

More needs to be done to build bridges between communities and police because the US and THEM theme has not worked for decades transforming systems, practices and perspectives is a great privilege one can have and to be invited to speak at a passing parade in a milestone of compilation of training was a moment that will be filled beyond that day. Policing was designed to serve communities it must be done with communities not to communities.
